Business Segment: Personal & Private Banking
This role is to lead the Data Monetization capability for the Card business within PPB. This role will lead the application of data analytics/science to drive Card Spend through collaboration of customer engagement and personalization capabilities and techniques. This includes customer behavioural segmentation analysis and behavioural predictive and propensity modelling.
This role will also lead initiatives to identify business levers through data analysis to maximize customer value, and execution to minimize customer attrition, and in turn derives quantifiable value for the business.
This role is expected to engage stakeholders at the senior management and Executive level in shaping and delivering customer value extraction; as well as the role is expected to lead a team of data analysts at the various skills level to enable data monetization for the Card business, and continue to champion best practice in data analytics/data science.

Experience in working with unstructured data (e.g. Streams, images) Understanding of data flows, data architecture, ETL and processing of structured and unstructured data. Using data mining to discover new patterns from large datasets. Implement standard and proprietary algorithms for handling and processing data. Experience with common data science toolkits, such as SAS, R, SPSS, etc. Experience with data visualisation tools, such as Power BI, Tableau, etc.
8-10 years
Proven development experience in software / software engineering. Up to date with developments in IA field. Experience in technical business intelligence; in depth understanding of the banks data processes, systems and products. Knowledge of IT infrastructure and data principles forming the basis for data quality management. Project management experience. Exposure to data governance and regulatory matters. Experience in building models (credit scoring, propensity models, churn, etc
