Senior Manager, Credit

Business Segment: Corporate & Investment Banking
Location: ZA, GP, Johannesburg, Baker Street 30
To provide an efficient and effective credit approval and management process in respect of the allocated portfolio. Develop and maintain co-operative relationships, at a senior level between all stakeholders in the credit value chain, and manage a team of Credit Managers.
Qualifications
Post Graduate Degree i Business Commerce or related disciplinesAt least 5-7 years thorough conceptual, practical knowledge and experience of credit procedures, policies and standards, as well as a thorough understanding of products and facilities that give rise to counterparty credit risk. Demonstrated understanding of Basel and broader regulatory and compliance requirements.At least 3-4 years seasoned understanding of lending and derivative products and facilities that give rise to counterparty credit risks, including the documentation required/presented to manage that risk.At least 3-4 years welldeveloped knowledge of financial markets, theglobal economy and appropriate regional geographies in which a portfolio operates.
