We look forward to your application!About the Role:The Senior Manager – Automated Tester will lead testing efforts, ensuring the delivery of high-quality software while mentoring the testing team and continuously enhancing the testing process. The role is pivotal in identifying software defects through rigorous execution of test cases and scenarios, working closely with the General Manager – Testing to develop comprehensive test strategies that align with project objectives.Key Responsibilities:Contribute to test planning and strategy discussions, defining test objectives, scope, and coverage while providing input on testing techniques and tools.Provide support and mentorship to junior testers, enhancing their skills and knowledge.Oversee the efficient execution of test cases, manage test environments, data, and configurations, and ensure effective manual and automated testing.Identify, track, and report defects, collaborating with developers for timely resolution and performing root cause analysis to prevent future issues.Work closely with development teams and stakeholders to clarify requirements, align on issues, and communicate test results for effective problem-solving.Maintain test artifacts, including plans, cases, scripts, and reports, ensuring proper documentation of testing activities and outcomes.Promote test automation by identifying suitable areas for automation and collaborating with developers to develop and maintain test scripts.Drive initiatives to optimize testing processes, exploring new tools, technologies, and methodologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.Analyze and prioritize risks associated with software defects, aiming to mitigate them and ensure software stability, security, and reliability.Ensure adherence to testing standards, regulatory requirements, and industry-specific guidelines, working with auditors and compliance teams as necessary.Actively share expertise with team members and promote a learning environment that elevates the testing capabilities of the entire team.What We're Looking For:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics and Communication, or a related field. A postgraduate degree in Computer Science/Networks or equivalent professional qualification is preferred.7+ years of relevant experience in testing, with at least 4-5 years in Automated and Manual Testing.
