Senior Maintenance Engineer - Mining

Hire Resolve's client, a reputable mining company based in KwaZulu-Natal, is seeking a skilled Senior Maintenance Engineer to join their team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and repair activities within the mining operations.

Responsibilities: Manage and supervise the maintenance team Develop and implement maintenance plans, schedules, and strategies Ensure compliance with safety regulations and guidelines Optimize the reliability and availability of mining equipment Conduct regular inspections to identify maintenance needs and potential issues Plan and coordinate maintenance activities Monitor equipment performance and propose improvements or modifications Manage and control the maintenance budget Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement continuous improvement initiatives Requirements: Grade 12 Degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or a related field GCC Mines & Works 5 years' experience as a Maintenance Engineer within the mining industry Extensive knowledge/experience in maintenance, hazard identification, RCFA/RCM facilitated and implemented, and procurement Valid Drivers' License Benefits: Salary: Negotiable Paid Time Off (PTO) (If Applicable) Contact Hire Resolve for your next career-changing move.
