To administer and coordinate the imports, exports, local and RTT process and procedure in aneffective and timeous mannerPrimary Objectives:Ensure accurate receipt and printing of pre-alerts, invoices and packing Lists from the suppliers and to provide tariffs on the invoices, any extra certification for customs clearance, Border Police and the NRCSEnsure that all invoices comply to customs requirementsComply to our SARS Preferred Trader requirements.Provide and complete clearing instructions to the clearing agents for imports.Check that all necessary Certification Documentation required for Imports, ie. NRCSLOA, Icasa are in place and attached to the Clearing Instructions Understanding of IncotermsUpdating NRCS LeviesExcellent Record keeping of documents received from the various agents, as well as of all shipments on excel for both Air and Sea mode, either online or via emailManage and ensure the right mode of transport is used, by liaising with the Product ManagerFollow up with suppliers on orders from manufacturing, estimated time of departures, estimated time of arrival, delays, shortages etc.…Tracking and tracing shipmentsRecord keepingSupply Product Managers with information on their orders, ETA's and status of their shipments frequently and as updates happenAccurately load Purchase Notes on the System to capture Supplier Orders Internationally and LocalEnsure pricing on the Supplier Invoices and the Product Managers Management Pricelist is correct.Ensure that the correct pricing is maintained on Purchase Orders when the stock is deliveredEnsure that the stock arrives at the right time, right price.Request quotes for imports and exportsComplete the scanned stock and timeously inform the relevant departments and branches on stock availability.Maintain and build relationships with different clearing Agents on ImportsFollow up on outstanding paperwork for any Imported Deliveries Capture documents correctly prior to handing over to FinanceConduct Costing Exercise for various Product Managers as and when requiredUpdate Audit Costing Sheet dailyCapture a monthly Stock in Transit Report for FinanceComplete Supplier Recons for Finance Manage Exports for Africa Sales Team Manage Courier queries Send ICN details to Finance for foreign payments General filing and maintenance All tasks assigned by reporting line managersManagement of at least 1 staff member to ensure that all departmental performance criteria are met.Education/QualificationMatricNational Diploma in Logistics (preferred)Skills & CompetenciesAttention to Detail and accuracyEffective communication and listening skillsResponsible and HardworkingCourteous and polite to colleagues and customersAbility to deal with unforeseen circumstances and report to managementTeamworkStrong ability to work according to a timeline and scheduleAbility to work under pressureWell-disciplined individualExcel knowledgeExperience (experience required for the job)Minimum of 2 years' experience in an imports and exports environmentStrong Admin AcumenAt Rectron, we are committed to our Employment Equity initiatives and employ according to our EE targets.#J-18808-Ljbffr
