Senior Litigation Advisor - Global Legal Finance Firm - Cape Town

Our client is a leading litigation finance firm dedicated to supporting clients through complex legal disputes by providing funding solutions.
They are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Litigation Advisor to join their team.
This role offers a unique opportunity to work on high-value legal cases across the globe.
Role Overview: As a Senior Litigation Advisor, you will oversee critical aspects of the legal process, including origination, due diligence, negotiation, internal pitching, and case management.
You will leverage your expertise to manage significant litigation cases and contribute to their firm's continued success.
Key Responsibilities: Perform comprehensive assessments of the merits of each case, evaluating their potential for success and overall strategic fit.
Analyse the financial aspects of investment opportunities, including funding requirements, investment stages, expected returns, and associated risks.
Lead negotiations with external parties, including law firms and stakeholders, to secure favourable economic terms and optimise investment structures.
Oversee the management of approved investments, coordinating with claimants, legal teams, experts, and other stakeholders to ensure effective case progression.
Monitor and manage the financial aspects of each case, ensuring adherence to the initial investment plan and addressing any deviations.
Explore and implement strategies for early case resolution and alternative dispute resolution to minimize litigation duration and costs.
Requirements: Bachelor degree in Finance, Law, or a related field.
6-8 years of experience in Litigation, Dispute Resolution, or related field.
Proven track record in assessing litigation cases and probability of success.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to evaluate complex financial and legal scenarios.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with a demonstrated ability to influence and engage key stakeholders.
Detail-oriented with a robust capability to manage multiple high-value cases simultaneously.
In-depth knowledge of legal and financial principles.
