Senior Legal Advisor - Litigation (6 Months Fixed-Term Contract)

Role Summary:To provide sound legal support to post-investment monitoring of investment where there are emerging defaults on loan servicing. Active involvement in deal re-structuring, understand and analyze the commercial aspects of the transaction and give expert legal solutions. Outputs:To provide sound legal support to post-investment monitoring of investment where there are emerging defaults on loan servicing. Active involvement in deal re-structuring, understand and analyse the commercial aspects of the transaction and give expert legal solutions.To provide prompt and sound legal advice and support to the Post Investment Department & Turnarounds, Workouts and Restructuring department Experience / Skills Required:At least 5 years' experience post articles experience in similar environment i.e. Private equity, Corporate finance, Corporate Finance, Management Consulting etc.At least 5 years litigation, business rescue and Court experienceExperience in securities law; and/orExperience in insolvency law; and/orGeneral experience in commercial law; and/orProven working knowledge of Company law, Tax law and NCR Business report writingMS Office suite knowledgeExperience in Turnarounds, Workouts and Restructuring is advantageousProfessional and courteous to all clients (internal and external)Accuracy in preparing legal documentationAbility to advice on legal issues related to the businessAbility to convey legal opinion and argue legally Qualification Requirements:LLBAdmitted Attorney
