The University of Fort Hare is seeking applications from appropriately qualified and experienced candidates for a Senior Lecturer position (1 post), Faculty of Management and Commerce
Minimum Requirements:
A relevant Doctoral Degree
At least 3 years' experience in higher education
Undergraduate and postgraduate teaching and research experience in Management
A record of accredited research publications commensurate with the academic rank of Senior Lecturer
Postgraduate supervision experience including successful Masters/Doctoral supervision commensurate with the academic rank of Senior Lecturer

Qualification/courses in higher education teaching and learning
Evidence of successful external fundraising for research
Evidence of supporting early career academics
Recognition in a chosen area of research (e.g., NRF rating)
Evidence of networking and collaboration beyond one institution in research and/or teaching
Evidence of community engagement integrated with teaching, learning or research
Duties:
Participate in research; curriculum design, development, and implementation
Teach undergraduate and postgraduate modules
Meet research publication requirements for the academic rank of senior lecturer level
Secure external research grants
Supervise postgraduate students
Establish institutional, regional or national collaborations
Contribute to mentorship of emergent academic staff
Participate in community engagement integrated with teaching and/or research
Participate in administrative duties at departmental, faculty and university levels
