Job Purpose: To contribute to curriculum development, teach according to a set syllabus, provide support to the department & faculty, engage in research, work integrated learning, and service-learning activities.
Job Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
Minimum Requirements: Senior Lecturer:Doctoral Degree in Engineering and the Built Environment, Humanities, Geography, or Urban PlanningPr.Arch registration with SACAPAt least 2 years of relevant lecturing experienceSuccessful supervision of post-graduatesRecord of publication in peer-reviewed journals and conferencesRecommendations:
2 years of professional practice in ArchitectureProficiency in Revit, BIM, Adobe SuiteExperience in sustainability measures and specification in architectural designCertified course(s) with the Green Building Council of South AfricaTechnical knowledge in building design & constructionAbility to develop a Research Focus AreaMinimum Requirements: Lecturer Professional Master's Degree in Architecture or Architectural TechnologyEligible for professional body accreditation with SACAPAt least 2 years' relevant teaching experience in Higher EducationRecommendations: 2 years of professional practice in ArchitectureProficiency in Revit, BIM, Adobe SuiteExperience in sustainability measures and specification in architectural designCertified course(s) with the Green Building Council of South AfricaTechnical knowledge in building design & constructionAbility to develop a Research Focus AreaKey Performance Areas / Principal Accountabilities:
