Job Description Are you a seasoned Java Developer with a strong background in building scalable and secure applications? We are looking for a Senior Java Developer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and optimising our server-side applications, working closely with front-end developers and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality software solutions.
Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain server-side applications using Java. Collaborate with front-end developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to deliver robust and secure applications. Implement complex backend features with a focus on scalability, performance, and security. Ensure the security of the application through best practices and advanced security measures. Conduct code reviews and provide mentorship to junior developers. Continuously monitor, optimize, and improve application performance and scalability. Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure our applications remain competitive. Requirements Experience: 5+ years of experience in Java development. Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Technical Skills: Proficiency in Java and related frameworks (e.g., Spring, Hibernate). Strong understanding of security best practices in backend development. Experience with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture. Familiarity with databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) and ORM technologies. Knowledge of the software development lifecycle, from design to deployment and maintenance. Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git). Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Strong communication and teamwork abilities. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities. Preferred Qualifications Experience with cloud services and infrastructure (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud).
