CORE PURPOSE OF JOBProviding and maintaining ICT based solutions to meet users hardware, software and
network requirements as well as coordinating ICT support and service delivery on a designated
campus.
KEY PERFORMANCE AREASTo coordinate the work of a team of ICT technical staff including Laboratory technicians and ICT technical staffTo render PC software, hardware and network support.To render PC software, hardware and network support in student computer laboratories.To arrange warranty/repairs with vendors Provide advisory services to staff and students. Participate in planning and implementing transversal ICT solutions.CORE COMPETENCIES Possess good knowledge of current trends in Information Technology.Possess strong IT Technical skills and administration skills.Possess good problem-solving skills.Possess a good knowledge of computer software and hardware, as well as a good workingknowledge of network infrastructure and server environments.Be capable of working under pressure with minimal supervision.Possess good interpersonal and communication skills.Capable of functioning in teamsA working and up-to-date knowledge of Microsoft productsKnowledge of Service Level Agreements and adhering to strict timelinesPossess good leadership qualitiesREQUIREMENTSM + 3 (In Information Technology or Computer Science) Required3 - 5 years in similar working environment.SCREENING QUESTIONS Do you have M + 3 (In Information Technology or Computer Science)?Do you have 3 - 5 years working experience in a similar environment.
