Summary:The role will have a focus on DC operations, systems and facility infrastructureThe incumbent will be exposed to various aspects of the company's supply chain, including Outbound Shipping, Distribution Centres, Transport and StoresOne would have the opportunity to diagnose problems, identify solutions, propose improvements and execute action plansAttractive to those who enjoy being immersed in operations and solve problems which will have a direct and measurable impact on the business.
Key Responsibilities:Development of business casesLeading supply chain projectsIdentifying and driving continuous improvement initiativesMapping and development of supply chain processesProvide systems support and trainingDevelop business processes to enable optimal business and system integrationLiaise with various role players and departments to provide supply chain supportRequirements:Bachelors in Industrial EngineeringMin 5 years experience as an Industrial Engineer, preferably in a warehouse environmentProject Management experience (advantageous) Retail knowledge and exposure (advantageous)Experience in Lean or Six Sigma methodology (advantageous)Advanced level of computer skills, especially MS Excel or Google SheetsWillingness to travel
