Senior Hygiene Technologist

NDC Personnel is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Senior Hygiene Technician to join a premium FMCG manufacturer in the Western Cape! This role offers the chance to lead and inspire a dynamic team while driving continuous improvement in productivity. As the Senior Hygiene Technician, you will: Oversee the implementation of effective cleaning standards across the facility, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. Lead the hygiene team, providing training and guidance to maintain the highest standards. Monitor personal protective equipment compliance, conduct hygiene inspections, and drive corrective actions when needed. Participate in internal and external audits and manage the use of cleaning chemicals and procedures, ensuring records are maintained and continuously improved. Conduct inspections across all shifts, including night shifts and weekends, review environmental results, and report findings to operations. Collaborate naturally with diverse teams, foster a positive work environment, and support the organization's objectives. Qualifications and Experience: Degree in Food Science, Food Technology Advanced Diploma, or equivalent tertiary qualification. Minimum of 4 years' experience in a food production environment, with at least 2 years' experience in a leadership role. Previous experience running a hygiene programme in a food factory is essential.
