Senior Hydrogeologist – Environmental Industry

Overview: Hire Resolve's client in the water & environmental consultancy industry is urgently seeking the expertise of a Senior Hydrogeologist in Rivonia, Johannesburg.
Responsibilities:

Manage complex hydrogeological projects within deadlines and budget.
Conduct field data interpretation and management.
Develop and maintain groundwater models.
Prepare hydrogeological conceptual models and ensure data and model quality.
Promote company standards and methodologies in hydrogeology.
Engage in staff training and mentoring.
Assist with overall group and unit revenue and growth assurance.
Participate in geophysics, pump testing, drill supervision, dewatering, and mine hydrogeology.

Requirements:

Bachelor of Science Honours Degree, MSc Degree in Hydrogeology.
Solid practical experience in mining hydrogeology.
Proven project management and report writing skills.
Good communication skills to develop client relationships.
Good client management and delivery efficiency.
Must be on site/mining projects.
Must be a registered professional scientist (Pr. Sci. Nat) or eligible for registration.
The ability to work independently and be part of a team.
