We are looking for a Senior Workday Analyst for our Cape Town support team.
The Workday Analyst is responsible for providing support across multiple functional areas of Workday (HCM, Benefits, Absence, Time Tracking, Compensation, Talent, Learning, advanced reporting, and security).
This role will collaborate with stakeholders to enhance existing processes and provide support to resolve complex tasks/requirements. The Workday Analyst is also responsible for participating in any future development activities, including system upgrades and the implementation of additional applications and functionality. This individual must be passionate about technology, automation, efficiency, and working in an agile environment.
The role is full-time based in Cape Town, reporting into the Workday HRIS Lead.
ABOUT THE ROLEResponsibilities:Provide cross-functional support for Workday modules, including HCM, Benefits, Absence, Time Tracking, Compensation, Talent, Learning and ProjectsLeverage deep Workday and systems knowledge to identify interdependencies and clearly communicate business processes, technical implications, and risks/benefits to stakeholdersImplement and maintain security configuration and complianceDevelop and deliver complex custom reports, dashboards, and analytics to help drive business decisionsConfigure, test, and deploy system upgrades and enhancements, including semi-annual and weekly Workday releasesIdentify opportunities to increase automation, streamline reporting practices, and reduce the amount of time required to complete specific tasksIdentify opportunities within existing processes and implement scalable solutionsIntegrate systems and processes as part of M&A activitiesIdentify additional opportunities for technology enablement across all HR processesABOUT YOUWhat you bring:Previous relevant work experienceMinimum of three years experience with Workday HCM or FINSProven ability to present data to senior leadership in a concise and meaningful wayPossess strong analytical skills with the ability to understand and interpret dataStrong experience with HCM processesAdvanced security experience preferredWorkday Certification highly desiredExperience leading complicated, cross-functional projectsExperience implementing enhancements and providing creative solutions in both structured and unstructured environmentsStrong written and verbal communication skillsStrong Microsoft Excel skills (e.g., pivot tables, vlookups, etc.)Enjoy problem-solving and taking on challengesWHAT WE OFFERFor the right candidate we will offer a competitive salary, 20 days holiday and a selection of benefits that include Discovery Medical Aid contribution and EAP, Pension contributions and Risk, company swag, socials and more.
