Key Duties and Responsibilities Provide strategic HR direction to the leadership in the allocated portfolio. Partner with managers and provide comprehensive and holistic service on all the HR aspects. Ensure effective implementation of all HR processes. Manage the overall level of people risk in the portfolio and ensure compliance to HR policies and labour legislation. Build relationships and network with line managers including EXCO through effective communication. Facilitates all organisational employee wellness initiatives. Assist in the implementation of all HR related projects. Provide professional leadership and support to head office HR team.
Any other tasks as agreed with line manager. Minimum Qualifications, Experience and Skills Required: Bachelor's degree in at least one of the following disciplines: Human Resources, Labour Relations, Organizational Development, and Industrial Psychology. Minimum of 10 years' experience as HR Generalist. Minimum 5 years management experience. Demonstrated ability to creatively solve HR related problems. Solid project management experience and competence. Strong leadership skills. Sound experience in Employee Relations, Organisational Development, Employee Engagement. Ability to build strong working relationships across all levels of the organization. Experience in the Health sector and or NGO space will be an added advantage. Computer Literacy and proficiency in MS Office (advanced Ms Excel). Sound business acumen and a strategic thinker. Knowledge and experience working with BCEA, Employment Equity Act, Skills Development Act and Labour Law. Knowledge and experience of the section 197 process.
