Must have NPO Industry experience working with different African Countries Purpose Reporting to the Executive Director, the Senior Human Resource Manager will develop the HR strategy in conjunction with the Executive team, and lead the implementation of all aspects of the employee lifecycle areas in line with the business strategy
Responsibilities include but not limited to: Partners with the leadership team to understand and execute the organisation's human resources strategy as it relates to current and future talent needs, recruitment, retention, and succession planningIn conjunction with the HR team members, manages the end-to-end talent acquisition process and onboarding for new staffManages all employee conflict, disciplinaries and terminationsProvides support and guidance to management and other staff when complex or sensitive issues ariseCreates the learning and development strategy and oversees training or skills initiatives that provide internal development opportunities for employeesOversee the development and implementation of succession planningImplement a wellness programme and manage wellness activitiesImplementation and management of performance review system and associated processesManages HR projects related to OD initiatives and liaising with donors and stakeholders to manage these initiativesResponsible for evaluating job descriptions and benchmarking new roles or involved with associated projectsOversees the employee offboarding process ensuring that exit interviews and knowledge transfer documents and handover processes are completedImplementation or oversight of HR administrationChampion a high- performance culture and support the leadership team and all employees to strengthen the ACF's culture.Create and oversee the diversity, equity and inclusion plan for our client and ensure that this aligns with our clients values, business strategy and commitments.Maintains compliance with legislation, and is responsible for updating policies and processes related to any changes to maintain complianceManaging allocated HR budgets with the finance executiveFlexibility to contribute to other organisational initiatives when required Requirements Post graduate qualification in HR, Industrial Psychology, Business Administration or a related fieldAt least 10 years relevant HR generalist experience, of which at least 5 years should be at a management level partnering with Senior Management teamsExperience working for a Pan-African or Global organisation within the non- profit sectorExperience working on OD projects highly advantageousStays abreast of HR trends, best practices and legislationAbility to relate to other staff and foster teamworkAbility to manage multiple priorities and deadlinesStrong interpersonal communication skills and demonstrated ability to write clearly and persuasivelyDetail oriented and works with high levels of accuracyAbility to innovate to create and implement continuous improvement initiativesStart date: Position available immediately
Location: Hybrid, Based in Cape Town

Salary: Market Related

Working Hours: 8am to 5pm Monday to Friday
