About the roleAs a Senior Graphic Designer, you will play a key role in shaping the visual identity of our growing portfolio of consumer brands. You will work closely with the Head of Branding and cross-functional teams to develop branding strategies and design assets for a variety of channels, including print, digital, and e-commerce platforms. This is a high-impact role that offers exposure to different sides of the business and the opportunity to collaborate with external freelancers as well as creative, commercial, and technical teams.
ResponsibilitiesCreation of digital designs such as B+, A+, EBC and Brandstores, for our Amazon product detail pages, based on brand identity guidelines set by the Art Director.Work closely with copywriters to execute high quality creative assets for consumer brands (CPGs).Collaborate with community management in the creation of assets for social media, email marketing and other promotional campaigns.Implementing branding guidelines across various assets, as required in collaboration with other Branding team members.Roll-out of packaging artwork, promotional inserts, leaflets and other print assets.Support Brand Managers to create graphics that are suited to their brands' needs and being able to implement their feedback efficiently.Support the Direct to Consumer team in enhancing the UX/UI of D2C touchpoints.Work with the Sourcing team to provide the right print assets for external suppliers & printers.Brief the content production team on photo & video needs and collaborate in producing best-in-class multimedia content.Work within the determined timeline, budget and project scope across Heroes' portfolio brands.About you:6+ years of full-time experience in graphic design, with a proven track record of delivering exceptional designs across multiple mediums.Experience reporting into a Creative Director or Head of Branding, with agency experience being highly desirable.Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Design, or related education certifications.Expertise in Adobe CC, with a particular focus on Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop and InDesign.Knowledge of Printmaking techniques (Offset printing, Screen printing).Experience in photo and video editing is essential, with animation experience being a valuable bonus.Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy and consistency of designs.Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple projects with a high level of attention to detail.Experience working on Amazon or e-commerce platforms is highly desirable.Our benefitsHybrid working - 3 days per week in office.25 days holiday.Public holidays.Friday afternoons off in August.Location: this role is based in Cape Town, with 3 office days a week.
