The ideal candidate must have a proven track record in geometric road design, combined with excellent technical abilities and strong leadership skills to successfully deliver complex design projects.Duties & ResponsibilitiesGeometric design of roads, highways, interchanges, and intersections according to client requirements and design standardsStormwater management design including drainage, culverts, and channelingPreparation of detailed design drawings, technical specifications, and cost estimatesCollaboration with other engineering disciplines to ensure integrated project deliveryConducting site visits and surveys to gather data for design inputOverseeing and mentoring junior design staff on the teamEnsuring adherence to quality control proceduresLiaising with clients to understand requirements and provide design updatesConducting design audits and value engineering exercisesDesired Experience & QualificationQualifications:A minimum of a BSc or BEng Degree in Civil EngineeringProfessional registration as an engineer with ECSA (Pr Eng or Pr Tech Eng) is mandatoryPossession of a valid driver's licenseExperience Required:A minimum of 10 years of relevant and extensive experience in geometric road and highway design in a consulting engineering environmentProven track record in delivering successful and complex geometric design projectsPackage & RemunerationMarket Related
