Key Performance Areas:

Scout and evaluate promising investment opportunities aligned with the fund's goals.
Lead comprehensive due diligence on potential partners and business models.
Negotiate and craft term sheets that balance opportunity with risk.
Deliver clear, compelling investment proposals to pre-screening committees.
Develop and refine complex financial models and risk analyses.
Prepare in-depth investment papers with actionable insights and recommendations.
Collaborate with legal teams to structure and execute investment agreements that safeguard the fund's interests.
Engage directly with investee companies to monitor performance, offer strategic support, and address challenges.
Ensure timely payment collections, including interest and dividends, while keeping a pulse on portfolio health.
Proactively analyse financial statements and operational metrics, mitigating risks with well-timed interventions.
Cultivate strong, trust-based relationships with portfolio companies, board members, and key external stakeholders.
Deliver clear, insightful performance and risk management reports to executives and the board.
Act as the go-to for escalations, resolving concerns swiftly and transparently.

Requirements:

Bachelor's or master's in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
CFA or similar designation is a plus.
Proficiency in financial modelling and advanced Excel; experience with portfolio management tools is advantageous.
7+ years in senior roles within private debt, private equity, or asset management, with a proven track record in fund management.
Advanced financial modelling, due diligence, and risk analysis skills to manage complex financial structures.
Solid understanding of legal frameworks in debt financing and investment agreements.
Exceptional judgment in decision-making and escalation management.
