The company is known for their consistently delivering precise reports ahead of schedule, treating investors with professionalism and care, and offering timely, value-added services, they've consistently exceeded client expectations.As aFund Accountant, you'll be working closely on preparing financial statements, reconciling transactions, calculating net asset values (NAV), and ensuring compliance with regulatory and accounting standards.
Roles & Responsibilities: Preparing Financial Statements and reports for investment funds, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.Reconcile transactions and maintain accurate financial records, including cash, investments, and expenses.Calculate Net Asset Value and related investors allocations on a periodic basis.Oversea daily Fund Accounting operations, including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial closing activities.Monitoring fund expenses and income, ensuring accurate financial recordsContribute to process improvements in financial workflows and reporting systems.Liaise with auditors and support the audit process by providing required documentation and explanations.Ensure regulatory compliance with local and international laws, including tax regulations.Assist with client communications, providing timely and accurate financial data and responding to queries.Collaborate with investment teams and other departments to ensure smooth financial operations.Requirements: BCom / Bachelor of Accounting or similar degree.SAIPA , AGA(SA) or equivalent4 - 6 years of total experience.Experience working with lots of clients will be beneficial.Salary: R30 000 - R40 000 / month (based on relevant experience)
