We are currently seeking a Senior Financial Reporting Specialist to join our finance team and contribute to our high-quality financial reporting and compliance efforts.As a Senior Financial Reporting Specialist, you will play a key role in ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting in compliance with IFRS and other relevant standards. The ideal candidate will be a qualified Chartered Accountant (CA(SA)) with 2-3 years of post-articles experience, who possesses strong technical skills and a passion for delivering high-quality financial information.Key Responsibilities:Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS.Assist in the consolidation of group financial statements, including inter-company reconciliations and elimination entries.Ensure compliance with all relevant accounting standards, regulations, and internal policies.Support the preparation of statutory reports and regulatory submissions.Conduct variance analysis on financial results, providing insights and recommendations to management.Coordinate with external auditors during the audit process, ensuring timely and accurate provision of information.Participate in the month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring adherence to deadlines.Stay updated with the latest changes in accounting standards and assess their impact on the company's financial reporting.Provide technical accounting support and guidance to other members of the finance team.Drive process improvements and efficiencies within the financial reporting function.Qualifications & Skills:Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA(SA)), with 2-3 years of post-articles experience, is essential.Strong knowledge of IFRS and experience with financial reporting standards.Experience in financial statement preparation, consolidation, and compliance.Proficiency in financial reporting software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics) is advantageous.Excellent analytical skills with a high level of attention to detail.Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain financial information to non-financial stakeholders.Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.Experience within Financial Services industry is essential.If you are interested in this opportunity, please apply directly.
