Your MissionAs Senior Financial Manager, you are ensuring the commercial viability of our project pipeline.
By applying your extensive experience in Renewable Energy and leveraging your network in the South African finance sector, you will secure funding models, advise the company in strategic decisions, and lead engagements with investors and lenders.Project FinanceExpand and maintain a network of investors and lenders for Renewable Energy projects (Wind, Solar, BESS).Develop project finance concepts and models for the C&I market.Feasibility analysis of Renewable Energy projects throughout the life cycle of the project.Support the development of bankable financial models.Manage external stakeholders (investors, lenders, shareholders) during the development process.Prepare offers and present projects to investors, banks, offtakers, and other relevant parties.Responsible for the sales & procurement process, including relevant contracts.Business Development OfftakeDevelop NPV savings models in cooperation with the BD/Offtake Manager.Analyze power purchase agreements (PPA) and evaluate financial impact, risks, and opportunities.Maintain financial modelling to optimise PPA terms, pricing structures, and contract terms to improve project valuations.Support the negotiation of bankable PPA and loan agreements.GeneralGeneral commercial & financial tasks and coordination of services such as accounting, legal, banking, etc.Provide guidance and financial advice to the company.Your ProfileRelevant degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.Advanced degree or professional certification (e.g., MBA, CA(SA)) preferred.Must have sound knowledge and experience in project financing with a focus on renewable energies.Proficiency in contracting PPAs and associated financial models.Strong negotiating skills and persuasiveness.Structured way of working and goal orientation.Business fluent in English.Why Us?Competitive salaries and flexible working hours.Personal responsibility & short decision-making processes.Convincing benefits including medical.Extensive training and regular development opportunities.A "people come first" work culture.About UsDrive the energy transition forward together with us!
