Read job description in: Your mission As Senior Financial Manager you are ensuring the commercial viability of our project pipeline.
By applying your extensive experience in Renewable Energy and leveraging your network in the South African finance sector you will secure funding models, advise the company in strategic decision and lead engagements with investors and lenders.Project financeExpand and maintain a network of investors and lenders for Renewable Energy projects (Wind, Solar, BESS)Develop project finance concepts and models for the C&I market Feasibility-analysis of Renewable Energy projects throughout the life cycle of the projectSupport the development of bankable financial models Manage external stakeholders (investors, lenders, shareholders) during the development processPrepare offers and present projects to investors, banks, offtakers and other relevant partiesResponsible for the sales & procurement process including relevant contractsBusiness Development OfftakeDevelop NPV savings models in cooperation with the BD/Offtake ManagerAnalyse power purchase agreements (PPA) and evaluate financial impact, risks and opportunities.Maintain financial modelling to optimise PPA terms, pricing structures, and contract terms to improve project valuationsSupport the negotiation of bankable PPA and loan agreementsGeneralGeneral commercial & financial tasks and coordination of services such as accounting, legal, banking, etc.Provide guidance and financial advice to the company  Your profile Relevant degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related fieldAdvanced degree or professional certification (e.g., MBA, CA(SA)) preferredMust have sound knowledge and experience in project financing with a focus on renewable energiesProficiency in contracting PPAs and associated financial models Strong negotiating skills and persuasiveness Structured way of working and goal orientationBusiness fluent in English Why us?
