Reporting directly to the Group Financial Manager, together you'll drive the success of your team's performance, output, and ensure the seamless execution of financial strategies across the group.

Duties include but are not limited to the following: Team Management: Lead and manage the accounting team to ensure daily tasks are completed, and workflows are monitored and addressed promptly. Ensure that the team understands their roles and responsibilities, and provide training to enhance skills and performance. Financial Reporting: Oversee the preparation of all financial reports, including submission of monthly management accounts and annual financial statements (AFS), ensuring timely completion. Financial Analysis: Generate financial reports that deliver insights into the organisation's financial position, operational performance, and cash flow. Tax and Compliance: Ensure timely submission of tax reports and payments in compliance with regulations. Budgeting and Forecasting: Develop annual budgets and financial forecasts for the organisation. Debtors' Management: Oversee the debtors' ledger, ensuring the team promptly collects outstanding invoices, conducts regular follow-ups on overdue payments, and assesses credit risk effectively to minimise debtor days. Creditors' Management: Manage the creditors' ledger, ensuring the team processes payments promptly, maintains accurate records, and reconciles creditor accounts. Process Improvement: Recommend and implement procedural improvements for efficiency and accuracy. Audit Coordination: Plan and coordinate external audits, ensuring financial records are audit-ready. Qualifications: Qualified CA(SA) preferable Minimum B.Com Hons in Accounting/Management Accounting or similar qualification Experience and Knowledge: Technical accounting expertise Financial reporting experience Regulatory compliance and tax legislation knowledge Debtors and creditors management Leadership and team management skills Strong communication and interpersonal skills Analytical and problem-solving abilities Risk identification and mitigation Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems Advanced Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets skills Skills and Attributes: Strong attention to detail High level of integrity and professionalism Excellent organisational skills Strategic and critical thinking Proactive and results-oriented mindset Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines Strong leadership and decision-making capabilities Adaptability to change and problem-solving aptitude Collaborative and team-oriented attitude Specific Requirements: Clear health record Clear credit record No criminal record Written employment references preferable Additional Benefits: Up to 20 leave days per annum Discretionary bonus each quarter Flexible working hours Onsite Barista (free coffee) Vending machine with great subsidised snacks Subsidised Parking Staff discount on Faircom (wifi fibre packages) Access to employee wellness programme Normal working hours are Mondays to Fridays from 08h00 until 17h00 with a 45-minute lunch break. Faircape offers a market-related salary from R 75 000.00 Cost to Company per month.
