Purpose of Job
Jobholders at this level are capable of operating with minimal supervision. They work within guidelines and procedures in order to prepare more complex, specialized or ad-hoc reports in their related field. They contribute to the completion of milestones or operational targets within the assigned functional area.
They undertake operational activities including consolidating input, financial analysis and forecasting, supporting other functions during budget development, and performing budget variance analysis.
Job Responsibilities Budget Development, Monitoring, and Analysis Update budgeting templates, forms, and guidelines based on requirementsCoordinate with all functions to align on budget guidelines, timetables, and applicable formsProvide support to ZATCA's functions for budget development through answering queries and preparing historical data and statisticsCollect and consolidate inputs ensuring alignment with set guidelines and templates and develop organization-wide budget draftNegotiate and challenge ZATCA functions on forecasted budgets and accordingly finalize budget planUpload final budget requirements into the systemAssess budget modification requests and analyze supporting business cases to ensure viability and obtain needed approvalsConduct budget monitoring to ensure targeted and effective use of budget resources and avoid any budget deficit and overrunsPerform variance analysis to pinpoint discrepancies between forecasted and actual budgetProvide guidance and advice on budget discrepancies/deviations Organization and Operations Follow all relevant policies, processes and standard operating procedures so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent mannerHelp in solving escalated problems and provide needed support for junior team to ensure work is carried out in an efficient mannerEscalate complex problems to the relevant person to ensure cases/issues are closed properlyPerform other duties as requested People Management Train junior staff on the different job activities to ensure transfer of know-how, when applicableProvide clear direction, prioritize tasks, assign and delegate responsibility, and monitor the workflow of subordinates/junior staffSupport junior staff or direct reports in order to execute their duties according to set policies and processes Job Details Communication and Contacts Education
Bachelor's degree in Finance or equivalent is required
Experience
A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience
