Duties: Financial Transaction Recording: Accurately record daily financial transactions in the appropriate journals. Bank Reconciliation: Reconcile bank statements with company records, addressing any discrepancies. Cashbook Management: Maintain and update the cashbook, ensuring the correct recording of receipts and payments. Fixed Asset Management: Oversee the fixed asset register, including handling acquisitions, disposals, and depreciation. VAT Compliance: Calculate, record, and submit VAT returns, ensuring full compliance with tax regulations. Foreign Currency Transactions: Manage and record foreign currency transactions, including necessary exchange rate adjustments. Financial Reporting: Prepare financial reports and assist with the preparation of financial statements. General Ledger Accuracy: Ensure the accuracy of general ledger accounts and assist with month-end and year-end closings.
