As a Senior Financial Accountant, you will play a crucial role in managing and reporting the financial activities related to our investment portfolio. This position requires a deep understanding of financial accounting principles, investment strategies, and regulatory requirements. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial records, providing detailed analysis, and supporting strategic decision-making processes.Key Responsibilities:Financial Reporting & Analysis:Prepare and review financial statements, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, with a focus on investment activities.Conduct detailed financial analysis on investment performance, returns, and risks.Monitor and report on the financial impact of investment strategies and market trends.Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards (GAAP, IFRS) and regulatory requirements.Investment Accounting:Manage accounting processes related to investments, including tracking, valuation, and reconciliation of investment portfolios.Oversee the recording and reporting of investment transactions, including purchases, sales, dividends, and interest income.Collaborate with the investment team to support portfolio analysis, valuations, and performance reporting.Assist in the preparation of quarterly and annual investment reports for stakeholders and investors.Audit & Compliance:Coordinate with external auditors to facilitate audits and ensure accurate financial reporting.Maintain and improve internal controls related to investment accounting and financial reporting.Ensure compliance with all applicable financial regulations and internal policies.Budgeting & Forecasting:Assist in the development of annual budgets and financial forecasts, particularly related to investment income and expenses.Provide insights into the financial implications of investment decisions to senior management.Monitor variances from budgets and forecasts, and recommend corrective actions as needed.Qualifications:Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or equivalent certification preferred.Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial accounting, with a strong focus on investment accounting.In-depth knowledge of financial accounting principles, investment products, and markets.Proficiency in financial accounting software and advanced Excel skills.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Apply Now!
