Senior Financial Accountant Area: Germiston, GautengType of position: PermanentSalary: Negotiable up to R45 000 p/m - based on qualification and experienceJOB ROLE: The position will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing accounts payable, preparing financial statements and handling intercompany loan accounts and transactions between the group of companies.RESPONSIBILITIES: Maintain accurate financial records, including bookkeeping, reconciliations and journal entriesEnsuring timely payments of accounts payablePrepare and analyse financial statements and reportsAssist with budget preparation and forecastingMaintain compliance with tax laws and regulations including submission of returnsAssist with audits and other financial reporting requirementsProvide support to the accounting team as neededManage intercompany loan accounts and transactions between our group of companiesReconcile intercompany balances and resolve any discrepanciesPrepare intercompany invoices and ensure proper recording of intercompany transactionsPerform any other duties required that could be expected from the positionManage team members in the accounting department REQUIREMENTS: Degree in Accounting or FinanceCompleted articles (SAICA or SAIPA) would be advantageousMinimum of 10 years of accounting experienceProficiency in accounting software and Microsoft OfficeStrong attention to detail and accuracyGood communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to prioritise and manage multiple tasksClear Credit and Criminal checksValidation of Highest Level of EducationValid References
