Senior Financial Accountant (Contract)

Job DescriptionSuccessful candidate will have a minimum of a completed B.Com (Accounting) degree (essential), coupled with 3-5 years accounting experience.Be responsible for monthly duties such as:Ensure allocation of expenses and payments;Perform variance analysis at month end on monthly I/S;Authorization of bank payments on bank system;Assist foreign branch coordinators with the month-end process;Perform B/S and intercompany account reconciliations;Raise forex adjustment journals for foreign intercompany accounts;Perform bank reconciliations;Process/check month-end and ad hoc journals;Assist the FM in the preparation of monthly management accounts;Maintenance of the fixed assets register;VAT / PAYE / WHT;Provisional tax;Debtors;Creditors;Forecast and budgeting process;The external audit process.Solid Excel skills essential. Experience on MS Dynamics advantageous.
