Senior Finance Coordinator

Seeking a Senior Finance Coordinator. This role calls on an individual who is highly organized, analytical, and a decisive decision maker, as well as someone who is very strong in communicating and relationship building. You will be required to deal with multiple departments, ensure compliance with legal regulations, and effectively escalate any issues within the medical field.

Responsibilities: Examine and track compliance with legal regulations, cost control (i.e. overstaffing, overtime), billing accuracy, increase occupancy, revenue, improve margins, collections, ensure that Shared Services is effectively implemented, staff productivity, and interdepartmental coordination. Maintain and establish strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to increase occupancy. Prepare and submit necessary reports as required. Review Billing & Collections, liaise with Patient Administration Manager, Billing Clerks, Debtors Clerks, and Case Managers to ensure correct and accurate billing. Manage issues together with various Hospital departments, ensuring availability of stock, timely collections, correct bed allocations, and process blockages. Develop and sustain protocols to streamline resolution processes and minimize disruptions.
