Senior Engineering Manager

RPO Recruitment is on the lookout for a Senior Engineering Manager to join a leading mining company in Mpumalanga. This role is critical for driving engineering excellence and ensuring efficient operations within the mining sector.Responsibilities:Develop and implement engineering strategies to improve production efficiency.Oversee the maintenance and reliability of equipment and facilities.Lead project teams for new installations and upgrades.Ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental regulations.Manage budgets and resources effectively.Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.Coordinate with cross-functional teams to align objectives and achieve targets.Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering.GCC Factories.At least 5 years' experience as GMR2.7 appointee for a heavy industrial manufacturing environment.10 years' experience as a manager.Experience in managing multi-disciplinary teams and functions.Strong understanding of engineering principles in a mining context.Proven track record in project management and team leadership.Benefits:Salary: R1.56M/yr - R1.7M/yr, negotiable.Paid Time Off (PTO).Family Leave (Maternity, Paternity).Please note that correspondence will only be conducted with shortlisted candidates for this position.
