Senior Engineering Manager

RPO Recruitment is on the lookout for a Senior Engineering Manager to join a leading mining company in Mpumalanga. This role is critical for driving engineering excellence and ensuring efficient operations within the mining sector.Responsibilities:Develop and implement engineering strategies to improve production efficiencyOversee the maintenance and reliability of equipment and facilitiesLead project teams for new installations and upgradesEnsure compliance with safety, health, and environmental regulationsManage budgets and resources effectivelyFoster a culture of continuous improvement and innovationCoordinate with cross-functional teams to align objectives and achieve targetsRequirements:Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Electrical EngineeringGCC FactoriesAt least 5 years' experience as GMR2.7 appointee for a heavy industrial manufacturing environment10 years' experience as a managerExperience in managing multi-disciplinary teams and functionsStrong understanding of engineering principles in a mining contextProven track record in project management and team leadershipBenefits:Salary: R1.56M/yr - R1.7M/yr, negotiablePaid Time Off (PTO)Family Leave (Maternity, Paternity)Please note that correspondence will only be conducted with shortlisted candidates for this position.
