Senior Electronics Engineer Market Related

Our client in the IoT industry is in search of a Senior Electronics Engineer at their offices in Randpark Ridge, Randburg.The Senior Electronics Engineer will be responsible for designing, testing, and maintaining electrical equipment and systems. The job incumbent may be required to travel occasionally, as well as work overtime.Duties & ResponsibilitiesFirmware Design and testTechnical supportTest and validate circuits for functionality and performanceWriting test reports, operational documentation, and other technical documentsCoordinates with manufacturing support personnel to conduct prototype runs for productsCommunicates with company personnel on projects, priorities, timetables as requiredEnsuring compliance with safety regulations and industry standardsKeeping accurate records of work performed and materials usedCollaborating with engineers, technicians, and customers to identify and solve problemsAll such duties and/or activities assigned by management/board as and when requiredDesired Experience & QualificationA degree in Computer Science, Electrical and Electronics, or a related field5 years' Experience in micro-controller, embedded system & board designProficiency in C/C++ programming skillsKnowledge in PCB CAD systems like Altium is a plusKnowledge in embedded OS, such as FreeRTOS etc, is a plusKnowledge in scripting languages is a plusFamiliar with software life cycles & processesDemonstrates good troubleshooting and problem-solving skillsDemonstrates good interpersonal skillsIntermediate skills in Microsoft Office suite (word, PowerPoint, excel, and Outlook)Demonstrates good written and verbal communication skillsHas good administration and documentation skills
