Senior Electronic Hardware Design Engineer

Key responsibilities / main job duties:- Design, simulate and complete PCB design and routing of Line Replaceable Units (LRUs) according to specifications provided by systems engineer- Follow the defined electronic hardware design processes and document design according to hardware design plan.- Take part in peer reviews of LRUs- Lead and mentor junior engineers, providing technical guidance and support- Collaborate with software, mechanical, DSP, RF and aeronautical teams to ensure seamless integration of hardware LRUs- Test and validate hardware designs, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations (DO-160, MIL-STD-704)- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to hardware design and performance.- Stay updated with the latest advancements in electronic hardware technologies and apply them to projects.Candidate requirements:Qualification and/or professional license(s)- B. Eng Electronic, M. Eng Electronic or similarYears of experience needed- Minimum 10 years.
15 years and more preferred.
Experience in the Military and or Aerospace industry would be advantageous.Proficiency in certain applications and/or software- Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Altium, LTspiceSound knowledge of- Schematic design, PCB design, simulation of circuits, analysis of circuits, development processes, testing procedures
