Qualified Electrician GCC (Factories)
Requirements:
Must have Wireman's license
Must have 5 years experience in a similar environment (Factory/Manufacturing)
Mechanical experience
Computer literate (MS Office and DMS 2000 knowledge)
Able to easily learn the functioning of new software (DMS2000)
Reading and creating electrical drawings
Panel and motor wiring
Electrical Fault-finding (motors and circuits)
Instrumentation (Temperature probe selection, connecting and testing e.g. PT 100's, modulating (actuator) valves)
Safety circuits and devices
Correct selection and settings on Electrical Equipment as per responsibility list
Experience in Power Factor Correction
Basic experience in Refrigeration
Experience in Repairing/Replacing Lights
Select, Connect and Program Variable Speed Drives
Experience on Generators and Interfacing with Eskom power
Able to analyze data and convert it to useful information
Forming part of controlling the Electrical Engineering Stock items
Ensuring correct quality, quantity, and storage condition for Electrical stock items
Perform cycle counts and reconciliations with the Buyer on Electrical stock items
Assist Maintenance Planner with planning tasks concerning your responsible area when required
Housekeeping (5S) in Electrical workshop, stores, and responsible area
Provide assistance on purchasing of Electrical related items
Performing planned inspections
Carry out planned maintenance
Attending to breakdowns / standby / call outs
Undertaking minor upgrades/modifications
Updating information and drawings as required
Performing administrative duties
Do routine maintenance
Performing calibration of equipment (Probes)
Assist on Maintenance work on the Brown Farm and Compost-yard when required
Any other maintenance work delegated by Maintenance Manager
