Key Responsibilities: Lead Multi-disciplinary Teams: Take charge of a team of skilled engineers to conduct comprehensive technical site assessments,
delivering end-to-end solutions for optimizing energy, water, and waste management.
Energy Systems Leadership: Drive the energy workstream, leveraging your expertise in electrical and renewable energy systems
to develop and implement innovative solutions that enhance energy efficiency.
Project Management: Oversee project delivery from conception through to completion, ensuring that all resources are effectively
managed, timelines are adhered to, and outcomes exceed expectations.
Technical Master Planning: Develop and implement a comprehensive master plan for energy, water, and waste management tailored
to each facility, ensuring long-term sustainability and cost-effectiveness.
Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with internal and external partners to create tailored solutions for new and existing
sites, ensuring that all stakeholders are aligned and engaged.
Quality Assurance: Ensure that all final reports and project deliverables meet the highest quality standards, complying with
ISO requirements and other regulatory frameworks.
Health & Safety Leadership: Champion best practices in health and safety, ensuring that all statutory, regulatory,
and company standards are met or exceeded on all projects.
Energy Systems Analysis: Conduct in-depth energy audits to identify opportunities for optimization and innovation.
Assess and enhance electrical power quality, load management, and system stability. Evaluate and integrate renewable
energy solutions, including feasibility studies for energy storage and smart grid technologies. Perform life cycle cost
analysis and risk assessments to support data-driven decision-making. Develop strategies for improving power factor
correction, voltage regulation, and overall system performance.
What We're Looking For: Educational Background: BSc/BEng Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field. A qualification in Project
Management is a strong advantage.
Experience: 10+ years of experience in electrical engineering, with a proven track record in energy efficiency
and renewable energy systems, particularly in a property or facilities management environment.
Professional Registration: Registered with a recognized engineering body (ECSA); SACPCMP registration is a plus.
Certifications: Professional certifications such as CEA, CEM, CMVP, CREP, BEMP, or similar, are highly desirable.
Technical Expertise: Deep understanding of energy systems, with hands-on experience in design management and
project leadership.
Project Management Skills: Demonstrated ability to manage complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish.
Software Proficiency: Expertise in CAD, energy modelling, and project management software (e.g., MS Project).
