Our people are our greatest asset, and we want people who can contribute to our purpose in line with our values.As Senior Economist you'll use your positive attitude, your knowledge of economic concepts and how they can be applied to real world problems and your ability to deliver economic analysis and modelling to underpin RCN policy recommendations.It's a job full of possibilities as you will be involved in anything from producing modelling to demonstrate the impact of pay award decisions on the lives of RCN members, and contributing to the development of a high-performing Policy and Public Affairs department.We'll look to you to lead the development of policy recommendations relating to fiscal public policy impacting the nursing profession in the UK. It's a great way to build your knowledge of our work and develop your potential.Responsibilities:Lead projects with multiple contributors without close supervision.Apply economic concepts and econometric methods to address workforce supply and retention issues.Work in partnership to deliver high quality outputs.Foster strong professional relationships and encourage collaboration between departments.To succeed at the Royal College of Nursing all you need to do is think bigger, better and brighter. Our hybrid working model allows for up to 60% of your working time to be carried out from home.
