We currently have several permanent roles available at our offices in Cape Town (Wynberg), Johannesburg (Sandton) and Durban (Umhlanga) working for incredible international companies.We are on the hunt for a Senior Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations Lead Developer to join our client's team.What You'll Be Doing ????As a Dynamics 365 F&O Lead Developer, you will play a pivotal role in designing, configuring, customizing, and implementing enterprise-wide D365 Finance and Operations projects. You will develop and lead a team of developers, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and ensure that our Dynamics 365 F&O solutions are robust, scalable, and aligned with business objectives.Key Responsibilities:Solution Design & Development:Lead the design, customization, and implementation of Dynamics 365 F&O solutions across the enterprise.Develop and extend Dynamics 365 F&O using X++, .Net, JavaScript, and other relevant technologies.Ensure that all customizations and configurations adhere to best practices, design patterns, and architectural guidelines.Technical Leadership:Provide technical leadership and mentorship to a team of developers, guiding them in best practices and coding standards.Conduct code reviews, ensure code quality, and oversee the technical delivery of projects.Application Lifecycle Management:Manage and implement Application Lifecycle Management processes using Agile, SCRUM, and Azure DevOps.Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines, ensuring smooth and efficient deployment of updates and customizations.Collaboration & Communication:Work closely with business analysts, project managers, and stakeholders to gather requirements, translate them into technical solutions, and ensure successful project delivery.Demonstrate strong communication, presentation, and technical writing skills, ensuring clear documentation and knowledge transfer.Continuous Improvement:Stay updated with the latest Dynamics 365 F&O features, updates, and best practices.Continuously seek opportunities to optimize performance, improve processes, and introduce automation where applicable.Required Qualifications:Experience: At least 5 years of hands-on experience in designing, configuring, customizing, and implementing enterprise-wide Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations projects.Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of Dynamics 365 F&O architecture, design patterns, and best practices.Application Lifecycle Management: Proven experience with Application Lifecycle Management tools and methodologies (e.g., Agile, SCRUM, Azure DevOps).DevOps: Good understanding of automation, continuous integration, and deployment (CI/CD) methodologies within a DevOps framework.Development Languages: Proficiency in .Net and JavaScript for developing custom solutions and integrations.Communication Skills: Strong communication, presentation, and technical writing skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.Preferred Qualifications:Relevant Microsoft certifications, such as "Microsoft Certified: Dynamics 365: Finance and Operations Apps Developer Associate."Experience with Power Platform (Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate) integration with Dynamics 365 F&O.Where and how you can workTo be successful, you'll need to: Work on-site from our office in Ilovo, Sandton Be willing to work non-traditional South African office hours.
