You will be responsible for the creative output on briefs, and report into the Creative Partner.
While your primary focus will be on corporate identity and graphic design, you will be asked to work across other disciplines including packaging, UI, and environmental design.
As part of the wider Ogilvy Group you will, on occasion be required to collaborate with Ogilvy One and Ogilvy ABC and OPR teams.
Key Responsibilities & AccountabilitiesAs a Senior DesignerBuild and deliver on creative briefs, solving client problems and establishing strategic intent through design.Drive graphic design excellence with attention to design detail and delivering on technical design requirements.Deliver conceptual big ideas in collaboration with the Creative Director and the studio.Develop graphic design systems, grids, principles, and guidelines during execution.
Strive for award winning execution and ideas, driving company profile and that of your clients.
Meet overall project brief deliverables, keep to timings and deliver with precision across assigned projects.Brief the DTP/ Finished Art teams on production ready artwork, review artwork and give creative approval.Brief suppliers/ printers and motion graphic teams, review production and give creative approval.Overall Contribute to strengthening and growing relationship between agency departments and with the client.Implement internal processes to improve self-sufficiency on each project via Workbook, Adobe Suite and Figma.
Develop the ability to support your direct report and the accounts team on pitch proposals and new business efforts.
Support case study development for completed projects and support the leadership team in publication content.
Support communications, UI & UX projects with your graphic design expertise.Complete timesheets daily ensuring these are accurate and submitted on time.
Archive, package, and file work to the business folders and align to the Taxonomy process and system.Ultimately, you will make our clients products and brands more user friendly and intuitive to attract and retain customers.
Role specific professional and technical skillsBreak through creative thinking, graphic design, digital design and a willingness to push creative boundaries.
Excellent knowledge on Adobe Suite (CC, XD, InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop).Good understanding of production and build processes (digital, audio visual, print) support product of assets ensuring they are pixel-perfect.
Experience in social media and digital media roll out.Working knowledge of FIGMA.Ability to manage multiple medium projects or multiple small size projects at the same time, with strong time management skills.Good writing, delivery and presentation skills relating to internal and client communication, articulate concepts and set up presentations.Good interpersonal skills to drive and build relationships with client, agency, and wider network.Ability to interpret client and agency feedback and debriefs, building on and exceeding requirements.
Conversant with Microsoft (PowerPoint, MS Word, Outlook, Keynote).Level of ExperienceRelevant degree in graphic design or similar.Min.
5 years experience in graphic design, design roll-out and guidelines development.Production experience essential (print, digital, audio visual, photoshoots).ATL, Digital and BTL experience.Some knowledge of SEO, HTML and CSS is a plus.
