Join us.Team Management:- Provides technical leadership for smaller project teams- Responsible for technically leading groups of Design Managers and technical teams to deliver within scope, budget, time and quality standards- Delivers effective communication inclusive of clients and team members to clarify expectations and requirements- Make day-to-day decisions for project teams- Mentors technical leadership talent and trains staff, ensuring discipline skills are up to date and industry-relevantTechnical Excellence:- Delivery of EC Africa Projects, understand status, budget, risks, etc.- Has a solid Technical Background on Multidisciplinary Engineering Projects and can contribute to technical discussions when needed- Applies diversified knowledge of Design Management principles and practices in broad areas of assignments and related fields- Makes decisions independently on technical problems and methods- Resolves complex technical problems and acts as the go-to person for specific technical issues- Performs quality reviews and serves as Lead Verifier on projects, confirming that the approach satisfies the client scope of services and expectations- Applies acquired expertise and knowledge to solve technical challenges- Supports digital transformation strategy and implementation and embraces change within the discipline- Responsible for developing a robust technical network within AECOM locally to provide clients with the most appropriate technical solutions- Responsible for managing a project to achieve specified objectives. Involves the overall planning, coordination and control of a project from inception to completion to produce a functionally and financially viable project that will be completed on time within authorized cost and to the required quality.- Manages scope, schedule, budget, quality, safety, and change management.Interdisciplinary Coordination:- Ensures assigned teams effectively coordinate with each otherMinimum Requirements:- 8+ years of experience within the built environment- Bachelor (BEng or BTech) or Master's Degree in Engineering from an accredited University.- Registered as PrEng or PrTech Eng with ECSA or similar accredited international registration, AND- Registration as PrCPM with SACPCMP, OR- Certification as PMP / PgMP / PfMP / PMI-SP / PMI-ACP with PMIAbout AECOMAECOM is the world's trusted infrastructure consulting firm, delivering professional services throughout the project lifecycle – from advisory, planning, design and engineering to program and construction management.
