The Senior Design/Improvement Analyst is responsible for analysing and improving business processes, systems, and designs within the organization. The ideal candidate will leverage their expertise in commerce, industrial engineering, or a related field to identify opportunities for efficiency, cost reduction, and enhanced performance. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong analytical skills and the ability to communicate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities
Conduct thorough analyses of current business processes to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement.
Utilize methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, or similar frameworks to assess and optimize workflows.
Develop and implement design solutions that enhance productivity and streamline operations.
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and design improvements that align with business goals.
Lead cross-functional projects aimed at process improvement and design enhancements.
Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
Analyse quantitative and qualitative data to drive decision-making and support design improvements.
Create reports and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations to management.
Work closely with various departments (e.g., Operations, IT, Marketing) to ensure design initiatives meet organizational needs.
Facilitate workshops and training sessions to promote understanding and adoption of process improvements.
Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the organization by promoting best practices and innovative solutions.
Monitor and measure the effectiveness of implemented improvements and adjust strategies as necessary.
Requirements
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Industrial Engineering, or a relevant field.
Experience:
Minimum of (8-10) years of experience in process analysis, design improvement, or a similar role.
Proven track record of successfully managing projects from conception to execution.
