We seek someone with an aptitude for product creation and client engagement who will rise to the occasion and challenge us and themselves to think outside the box.Job OverviewWorking with data engineering and data science teams on technical and strategic planning and execution of department goals.Perform detailed analysis on microfinance data for the generation of business-level recommendations.Presentation of analysis and recommendations to executive teams.Implementation of recommendations and evaluation of their performance.Designing, building, and deploying machine learning models and statistical optimizations in the financial industry.Investigation of product idea feasibility, MVP scoping, and technical development.Academic BackgroundEngineering, mathematics, computer science, or any other STEM-related degree (Honours level).Graduated with distinction.Master's degree is advantageous.Experience3+ years experience in a client-facing role presenting analytics to business teams.3+ years experience performing analytics, generating findings, and implementing improvements.Technical SkillsPrinciple understanding of machine learning and statistics.Hands-on experience with machine learning is advantageous.Experience manipulating data with Python (Pyspark is a plus).Data visualization experience.Soft SkillsGreat at communicating upwards to executive teams.Friendly and client-centric thinker.Always keen to learn and push for excellence.Elucidate AI offers remote and hybrid working options, learning development opportunities, and has unlimited annual leave!
