Senior Data Scientist

Purpose We are looking for a Jedi Data Storyteller who can follow the data to identify solutions and opportunities to improve customer experience.
This role focuses on identifying trends and developing solutions to current business problems by extracting, analyzing, and interpreting relevant data and engaging with key enablers in the business. You will work with the Data & Build and Analytics team to optimize and deliver models required for the Customer and Adviser Service Centre. As the SME in predictive and prescriptive analytics, you will provide expertise on model builds leveraging experience and working knowledge in modeling, visualization, and automation.
Minimum Experience Minimum of 5-8 years' experience in a Data Science/Data Analytics role within either Analytics, MI & Reporting, or a similar environment essential.Ability to work with large data sets.Data visualization experience essential.Experience working with unstructured data is required.Experience in extracting and analyzing data using programming languages including SQL, Python, R, and VBA.Life Insurance experience and knowledge preferred.Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's Degree: Mathematics/Computer Sciences and/or relevant Data Science qualifications.Relevant Post-Graduate qualification will be an advantage in this role.Liberty Group Limited is an equal opportunity, affirmative action employer.
