Collaborate with the Risk and Analytics department to enhance clients' business performance by offering information, analyses, reports, and technical assistance for creating and executing data-driven credit risk strategies.
Show strategic input and possess a diverse range of experience.Key Responsibilities:Aid the team in achieving a well-balanced credit portfolio through accurate forecasting of anticipated outcomesDevise and execute champion/challenger customer strategies aligning with Board expectationsMonitor portfolio performance, ensuring compliance with predefined KPIs by proposing proactive adjustmentsAddress data integrity concerns, validate analytical results, and test assumptions to ensure accuracyAnalyze the effects of strategy alterations on application areas and account management strategiesDeliver insights through reports and presentations, presenting findings and recommendations to senior stakeholdersUse statistical techniques to forecast and track implemented strategiesOversee the implementation of strategy changes into operational systemsProficient in coding with retail experienceCredit professional with expertise in IFRS9, credit strategy rules, and risk registersKey Requirements:Preferably hold a postgraduate degree with a focus on mathematical or statistical subjectsBusiness Science Degree / B.Com Degree or equivalentPossess 8+ years of experience in consumer credit (in a Credit Risk analytics environment) with a track record of implementing solutions based on analytical findingsFamiliarity with the credit life cycleExperience in revolving store card or credit card operations is beneficialAbility to work effectively under pressure and within structured and unstructured frameworksPredictive Analytics experience with a strong numerical background is advantageousCapable of monitoring models and reporting to the boardAssist in team growth through relevant support, training programs, and mentoringStrong attention to detail with a focus on precisionHigh integrity and confidentialityProficient user of Microsoft Office suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)Experience in SAS (base and/or Enterprise Guide and/or SAS Viya)Knowledge of SAS Sequel / SAS Python
