Senior Credit Controller

Job Functions: Creating procedures and policies that ensure timely payments while maintaining a high level of customer retentionReconciling Accounts that have been escalated from the AR teamMonitoring debtor balances to ensure a reduction in debtors DSOEnsuring credit and collection policies and procedures are followed within your teamLiaising with customers, as well as internal personnel including the sales teamManaging a book of debtor accounts to ensure timely payment of outstanding invoices.Conducting credit checks on new customers, resolving problems in relation to invoice paymentsHighlighting potential debtor problemsPayment allocations and reconciling of accountsAssist with reporting and other finance related functions if need beEnsure Collections are on time and queries attended to promptlyReview and approve Credit Note requests ensuring their reasonabilityClient Management and building strong relationshipsPosting AR/CB batchesRequirementsStrong analytical skills and attention to detailGood business acumen for problem solvingExperience with working on Accpac will be an advantageConfidence to deal with customers and colleaguesExcellent time management skills and ability to prioritise workloadExcel and Microsoft outlook4-5 years experience within an AR and or credit control environmentAccounting knowledge
