Senior Credit Analyst

Key ResponsibilitiesFinancial Analysis and Modelling: Build and maintain financial models to assess the creditworthiness of potential borrowers, evaluate risk, and analyze financial structures. Conduct sensitivity analysis to understand economic impacts and optimize capital structure.Debt Structuring: Develop and negotiate financing solutions aligned with our risk framework, collaborating with various teams to ensure compliance and effectiveness.Return and Profitability Analysis: Analyze potential lending opportunities, assess returns, and provide financial performance insights. Formulate pricing strategies based on risk.Strategic Recommendations: Prepare and present detailed reports for decision-making committees, emphasizing data-driven risk assessments and strategic advice.Risk Management: Monitor the credit portfolio for emerging risks and enhance risk mitigation strategies.QualificationsBachelors degree in a finance-related field; CA(SA), MBA, or CFA preferred.Minimum of two years in a credit role within a financial institution.Familiarity with financial regulations and strong communication skills.Proficiency in financial modeling and advanced Excel skills.Interest in finance and strategy, with corporate finance experience being a plus.
