Job title: Senior CounsellorSalary: £37,107 – £41,271 FTE per annum (Actual salary for 22.5 hours: £22,264 – £24,763 per annum)Contract: PermanentLocation: Wildwood Drive, Worcester WR5 2QTThe role: We currently have an opportunity for a Senior Counsellor to join the Family Support Service at St Richard's Hospice. The successful applicant will lead a team providing structured support to adults with an illness that cannot be cured, their carers and loved ones, as well as adults and children who have experienced the loss of a close friend or family member.The team offers a wide range of support including Counselling, a Bereavement Service (including Bereavement Support South Worcestershire - BSSW), Social Work, Citizens Advice, and group support.The successful applicant will be responsible for the line management of the Counselling team and carry an active caseload, taking responsibility for the management and organization of their client group.This post requires an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service check.About you: The successful applicant will have a recognized degree or diploma in Counseling/Psychotherapy.
