Championing the big idea from concept to execution, ensuring creative integrity aligns with our brand voice and retail goals.
Developing content across various marketing channels, including website copy, email campaigns, social media posts, and product descriptions, all with a keen understanding of retail customer journeys.
Ensure creative work is executed within agreed strategy, deadlines, and budget.
LEADERSHIP PERFORMANCE AREAS:
Providing real-time, ongoing coaching and feedback to team members throughout the year.
On-time completion of performance management activities including regular 1:1s and Bi-annual performance reviews through GPS.
Supporting employee development including facilitation of career development conversations and crafting development plans for current and future needs.
Taking action to hire and retain high-performers and address poor performance.
Proactively manage change initiatives within the team including sufficient planning/ preparation and communication to minimise disruption and support employee adoption.
Role modelling the behaviours that support and drive the Flash culture and value.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
6 – 7 years of advertising agency experience as a copywriter, including experience in thought leadership, brand messaging and co-ordinating the rebranding of a company or companies. (Preferred)
BA degree or Higher diploma in Creative writing.
Perfect written communication skills.
Have experience working at an advertising agency or an in-house agency.
Strong knowledge of digital marketing as a whole within the South African cultural landscape.
A track record of exceeding targets and an award-winning portfolio to demonstrate this and that showcases memorable creative work.
