Our client is looking for a Senior Controller - Export to oversee and manage export operations within the logistics department. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and compliant movement of goods across international borders, managing documentation, and coordinating with various stakeholders to achieve seamless export processes.ResponsibilitiesOversee and manage all aspects of export operations, including the preparation and processing of documentation for export shipments.Ensure compliance with international trade regulations, customs requirements, and company policies.Coordinate with freight forwarders, shipping lines, and customs brokers to ensure timely and cost-effective transportation of goods.Manage export schedules, ensuring that shipments are processed and delivered according to customer requirements.Handle customer inquiries and provide updates on shipment status, addressing any issues or delays proactively.Monitor and analyze export data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement in the export process.Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, and regulatory authorities.Ensure accurate and timely filing of all required export documentation, including bills of lading, invoices, and certificates of origin.Implement and manage export control procedures to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.Provide training and guidance to junior staff on export processes and compliance requirements.Key SkillsStrong knowledge of export regulations, customs procedures, and international trade laws.Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.Proficiency in export documentation and logistics management software.Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure.High attention to detail and accuracy in handling documentation and data entry.Ability to analyze data and identify trends to optimize export operations.In-depth knowledge of export procedures, documentation, and compliance requirements.Experience in the logistics industry, with a focus on export operations.Certification in Export Management or International Trade is an advantage.Proficiency in using logistics management software and tools.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Logistics, International Trade, Business Administration, or a related field.Minimum of 5 years of experience in export logistics, with at least 2 years in a senior or supervisory role.
